So, I took the day off yesterday. I had the opportunity to attend an event my upline hosted for demonstrators. It was a bit crazy, but lots of fun too. So much creativity in one room.
This was my project to share and I got to make a whole bunch of others in return. Yes, I made a lot of these, but it was worth it.
I tried to put “snow” on some of the tree branches, but wasn’t happy with these results. For the event I went “snowless” but I want to get it sorted out with another product or two. I have time, it is still August after all. But you get the idea.
Three of the products used here are in the new seasonal catalog that goes live September 1st! How exciting!
Have a creative day!

I was happy to get your card in my swap bag yesterday; another good idea for my Woodland embossing folder! But I have a question: how did you get the gray ink on the background and in the crevices of the birch trees while leaving the trees white? When I made my card I did just the opposite, I sponged on the trees so the background and the crevices stayed ink-free.

I used my brayer on the ink pad and rolled on the embossing folder on the background side. It worked better on the heavy white card stock worked better. A favorite technique for me.
